CAM: Drawn to Life

The Alumni Association manages Colorado State University’s animal ambassador, CAM the Ram, and over the course of my time with them I’ve illustrated CAM in a variety of ways to fit the mood of the message.

These are some examples of smaller projects I've illustrated CAM for. Styles have ranged from a realistic rendering for one of our beer pairings, to kid-friendly characters for birthdays or internal celebrations!

Another fun way I’ve drawn CAM is on an internal office whiteboard filled with sticky notes. The idea started after I watched Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in 2023, and slapped one doodle onto an unused whiteboard in the hopes it brightened someone’s day. Cut to years later, and a doodle or two a week has added up to a whole board of CAMs! I enjoy taking suggestions from coworkers or being inspired by holidays and the world around me. These have been wonderful icebreakers and a great way to add some whimsy to an office filled with cubicles and artificial light.
