CAM: Drawn to Life
The Alumni Association manages Colorado State University’s animal ambassador, CAM the Ram, and over the course of my time with them I’ve illustrated CAM in a variety of ways to fit the mood of the message.
These are some examples of smaller projects I've illustrated CAM for. Styles have ranged from a realistic rendering for one of our beer pairings, to kid-friendly characters for birthdays or internal celebrations!
Another fun way I’ve drawn CAM is an internal office whiteboard filled with sticky notes. The idea started after I watched Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and slapped one doodle onto an unused whiteboard in the hopes it brightened someone’s day. Cue to over two years later, and a doodle a week added up to a whole board of CAMs! These have been wonderful icebreakers and a great way to add some whimsy to an often tense environment.
